EL PASO, Texas (PRWEB) September 10, 2018
On July 13, 2018, DATAMARK, a global provider of Business Process Services (BPS) and Contact Center Services, hosted its annual 4th of July Carnival, in which DATAMARK employees from El Paso operational facilities gathered to participate in some spirited events, all for a charitable cause. Employees had the opportunity to purchase tickets for activities such as, ‘dunk your boss’ and ‘pie in the face’, in order to fundraise for a local charity. In the spirit of Independence Day, this year’s proceeds went to benefit the American Patriots Organization, a non-profit program founded and operated by United States Veterans in order to provide local Veterans with support and rehabilitation services. The vision of the organization is to create a nationally recognized center for healing on behalf of our warriors, create numerous veteran jobs, and introduce new revenue into the community. El Paso is home to one of our nation’s largest military bases, Ft. Bliss, and DATAMARK is honored to be able to build relationships with those that are passionate about caring for our veterans and their families.
For almost 30 years, through a program called DATAMARK Gives Back, DATAMARK has been sponsoring employee activities for charitable giving and fundraising in global communities. Executive Services Administrator, Michelle Hayes said, “DATAMARK Gives Back is an essential component of DATAMARK as a whole. Our efforts are not simply to give for the sake of giving, but to give in such a way that it is contagious. We want our employees to catch on to the power that giving initiates. Our contribution, whether it be financially or through volunteer services, aligns with charitable organizations that share our core values and beliefs, and fosters deeper success in our own business by promoting these values of Integrity, Respect for Others, and Teamwork.”
